BackCountry Beans

An outdoor inspired coffee brand that blends adventure with sustainability. The project included the development of a full visual identity, a product line of coffee blends, and a backpacking-friendly pour-over solution called EasyPour. This brand design explored everything from storytelling to 3D packaging renders and campaign assets for launch.

I began by defining the brand’s mission: to provide high-quality, sustainably packaged coffee that complements the outdoor lifestyle. The goal was to make BackCountry Beans feel adventurous, welcoming, and grounded in nature. I wanted it to feel like something you'd throw in your pack for a weekend hike, but still look intentional and polished.

The Process

EasyPour in action — a 3D model and fluid simulation brought to life in Blender to demonstrate the simplicity of our single-use pour-over coffee design.

The social content leans into storytelling, with posts that introduce the blends and images that highlight how the coffee fits into outdoor life. I also made stickers with custom illustrations as fun extras that people could put on water bottles, coolers, or gear to rep the brand.
